Kentucky creek, river and lake fishing

Know the water before you load the kayak

Pool levels, dam work, access points, flow windows and the structural facts that decide where fish can be — verified against primary sources, or marked unverified. Kentucky first.

Held at 490 feet while the Corps rebuilds the dam — five feet under summer pool, for six to eight years. What that does to the ramps, the coves, and where the fish sit.

Why this site exists. Most Kentucky fishing content is either a generic species guide or a forum thread from 2014. Almost nobody publishes what is actually happening on a specific water right now — what the pool is doing, which ramp went marginal, when the fill schedule moved. That is the gap.

Get told when the water changes

Not a newsletter. Pick the waters you fish and we email you when something actually changes — a pool level moves, a ramp closes, a dam schedule shifts, flow drops into the window.

No weekly send. No digest. Nothing on a schedule. If the water is doing what it always does, you hear nothing.

Everything on this site stays free and open. Nothing is behind a signup.
